Wildflower Garden

We purchased a car finally this past week from a man who lives north of here. While we were in the area, we made a delightful stop at the wildflower garden in the Ku-ring-gai Chase National Park. It was a beautiful day, cool and pleasant. We walked along paved trails and let the kids play at a little playground in the middle. Ravi and Chris especially enjoyed the Senses Walk, which had sign-posts identifying several natural leaves and trees and plants. Crushed eucalyptus leaves have such a wonderful fragrance. We pushed Bronte and Yared a ways, but then they wanted to get out and run. And run they did! Yared ran until he could run no more -- uphill and downhill -- trying so hard to keep up with Ravi and Bronte. He's getting stronger all the time and it did us all good to spend a few hours in the great outdoors.
